I was 20 years old when I had my daughter. I was not ready for parenthood but yet I was so excited but still nervous. Being a young mom I was judged and told so many things that most young parents have heard. I was too young to be having a baby was the one I heard the most.
I could agree with that to an extent. No I didn't know what to expect with being a young mom that wasn't married. But I knew I would learn as time went on. Parenthood doesn't come with a manual heck life in general doesn't even come with one. We learn as we go.
The best part of being a young mom I got to meet my daughter and best friend a little earlier. The second I saw her on her first ultrasound before I knew what she was I was in love. I knew my life was gonna change completely as soon as she got here. And it did.
Every minute of every day since she was been born I learn something new. Don't judge the young moms or even dads because you think they are too young or they don't know what they are doing. Do you have kids and if so did you know what you were doing right away when you had a kid or kids??
